Road seems about the same as I remember. Very rocky in parts and I used 4-low in sections where it becomes very bumpy. The section just past the pond still makes me nervous because there's one spot where it washed out a bit and it's a long way down the side...
Mostly loose gravel and rocks higher up. Drove up to 9.75 km just after the hairpin turn in my AWD Pilot Trailsport. There was a rough section that I wasn't sure if I had enough clearance for. Left side was flat, but super narrow with loose rocks. Did not want to slide off, so backed up just before the hairpin and turned around.
Good condition until the last switchbacks where there is some exposed rock. Nothing crazy, just need a bit of clearance but there is a steep dropoff so you want to be confident in your vehicle to attempt it.
Road is cleared as it is used as a snowmobile track during winter but does have some rougher spots, but an average 4WD vehicle should make it to the summit.
