Road Description
This segment of road has technically been renamed to Harrison East, however the conditions vary heavily from the first 40+km of East Harrison and so to keep it easier to report conditions it will be kept as a separate road section
Road Bulletins
The washouts previously reported at around km 58 have been repaired and it's clear some machinery has been through to fix up some other spots. With that being said, the road is still in overall pretty crap condition. Lots of loose boulders, ditches, potholes and more. You can comfortably drive this road in a 4x4 HC but it will be very slow going. I wouldn't recommend a cross trek or anything like that.
[From Matt Ion] - Decided to see how far we could get yesterday, and the answer is: not even to Kookipi.
Road was good until Shovel Creek Falls, then got significantly... more interesting. Substantial washout about 58km, easily passable by most 4x4s but will require a bit of clearance and good approach angle.

The snow started about 60km at 530m elevation... by 62km and 700m elevation it was starting to get deeper than we wanted to attempt solo, especially being the snotty, greasy, pea-gravel spring snow. This was about halfway along Shovel Creek FSR between East Harrison and Kookipi FSRs (Kookipi Pass elevation is 1100m).
Gonna be a while yet before anyone but the most intrepid snow-wheelers will be getting over the pass.
