Road Bulletins
Easy driving to beyond Fire Spires turn off, but no longer maintained after around 16 km. Boulders and rocks on road, barely passible in a Tacoma. Seems to be relied on user maintenance
Some potholes and rough sections, but no major obstacles. There is active logging. A couple inches of icy snow that melted by the time we left 2 days later Saw a sign stating the road is closed in the spring (April 1 to June 1 I think?) due to grizzly bear activity
We were able to drive the ~11.7km mark where we parked before heading up to the Fire Spires. There was a bunch of logging occurring on the upper slopes above the road so presumably the road condition will remain usuable for the near future.
