Road Bulletins
Trio Creek FSR is now ostensibly permanently gated at 0km. The road is largely in great condition (suitable for bikes), except for a stretch that is ~1km long starting at ~2.25km. This stretch is the most heavily deactivated road I have ever seen, and we couldn't even push our bikes through it.
It appears as if they not only deactivated the road, but also decided to use all the material/aggregate to reinforce the upslope terrain, potentially to prevent more slides? There simply is not a road bed anymore.
I believe there is a new spur connection above (North) of Trio Creek FSR which can be used to connect the two disjoint but otherwise good segments of this road. I imagine this is what the hydro project workers use to access the dam.

[From Damian L] - Gate is currently closed for logging operations
Gate was open and the road was in good condition. We were able to drive up to the "Chicken Spur" without any issues in a truck
