The landslide at 2.5km has been repaired, but it appears to be a temporary fix and does not look official. A 4x4 is strongly recommended to pass through this section.

Lots of pot holes but easy driving. No snow on the road

Potholes, but don't really need high clearance until just after 10.5 km. There's a cross ditch to reach the gate. I didn't attempt. Will require high clearance, but others just park here.

Drove to Paleface Creek FSR. Only potholes. To be honest I'd probably drive my sedan on this road. Not sure if it gets worse after.

[James Moore] - Drove all the way to the bridge across Depot Creek. The gate is still confirmed closed. Snow started a few kilometers before the Lindeman Lake trail but able to make it all the way down the lake without issue.
