Essentially a fallen forest covers the road ~800m down the FL1000. Impassible for any vehicle and very tough for hikers too. There are several more areas of deadfall between this point and the typical driving trailhead (~1.5km away).
Can confirm the road is still washed out at ~750m with nowhere to turn around. There did seem to be tire tracks in the snow beyond though, so perhaps extremely capable/modified vehicles can get past, but the average SUV/4x4 won't. The road beyond the washout seemed fine to the end of the road. We parked at 700m and stopped in a spot where we could turn around and hiked from there.
Surprisingly, we saw a 2WD vehicle reach the washout, but I would not advise a 2WD on this road myself. SUV will be fine.
