Things have changed since the 2025 report where the person drove very high. You still have to go all the way to the summit and then cross over and head back to the box canyon parking for the start of the FSR. In that report he mentions there are 3 ways to access this FSR and it is true there are still 3. The box canyon curve is still blocked with rocks, but the bypass road is still there as soon as you come off the highway. The last way is if you just drive up the runaway lane and then go left. Right at the first curve the water has chewed up the road and then you have to go thru a deep short agressive waterbar. 2nd curve there is a tree down and in total there are 5 trees over the road. We dirtbiked to the end. Roadbed is still pretty good aside from that 1st curve. Someone will cut the trees soon I'm sure so eventually it will be driveable to the end again.

Drove the road until we turned off onto BR1113. What seems to be the main entrance is blocked immediately after leaving the highway at (49.5715892, -121.1833308), but a connector road that turns right from the same turnoff is open. You can also access from a paved road running alongside the runaway lane just north of the main entrance at (49.5759949, -121.1803935). Most of the road is in decent condition but full of small cross ditches and a few steep sections. Looks like logging was done recently at the very end of the road. I will post updates for BR1113 and BR1113A with more specific information for those roads. Completely free of snow.

Only drove by, but it appears the road has been barricaded. Although I imagine the road is in decent shape after a lot of logging up there this past summer.

[From Jay Jay] - snow on the majority of the road and no gate at the base was noted. May be drive able to the very end in the summer time
