Road Bulletins
Brian Georgievski reported on: Mar 16, 2025
Can confirm the most recent bulletin. The gate is now open (went up March 16). We met a guy up there who claims he was the driving force behind pestering the logging company to open the gate. If true, and you're reading this, thank you!
Francis Bailey reported on: Mar 10, 2025
[From Sea2Sky District] - As of March 10, 2025, access to Mount Mulligan is open to the public via Ray Basin Road (turn-off at 6.5km on Mamquam River FSR). Drive with caution and expect industrial traffic. Ray Basin Road is gated at 1.5km, after the turn-off to Mount Mulligan. Please park in the designated parking area at the Mount Mulligan turn-off or on the road shoulder in a safe location.

Washout at around 920m
Road is in good condition, and found logging activity in the FSR
Was able to park at around 660m with a Nissan Rogue but if it wasn't for the ice on the road it couldve easily been driven until the washout mentioned in previous reports
Martin Ortmayr reported on: Oct 28, 2023
Good 4x4 condition to the washout at 920m elevation. There is room enough to turn around and one or two spots on the side of the road to park down from that. Note the washout is at 49.69485,-123.07235, a bit lower than shown on this map. Also, there is a spot at 745m elev. 49.699308,-123.077865 where there is a new-ish spur, I have seen vehicles park here in the past but now there is a no parking sign.
