Road Bulletins
Great condition (2WD) until the last right turn. After that, 2-3km of ok road - SUV clearance needed, but 4x4 not needed. We parked around 11.5km before a washout. This can be crossed by a Tacoma, but you wouldn't go much further anyway.
I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of Hope Creek FSR. I had always assumed this was a rougher road that was heavily overgrown, but it's not. The majority of the road is in great shape and can be driven fairly quickly. The final few kilometers are a little more deteriorated, with a few minor cross ditches and narrowing bushes. There was no issue with pinstriping, a major plus for me. My passenger said he would be comfortable driving his sedan to roads end but YMMV as he takes his to places others may not with a sedan. It was an easy drive in a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.
In great shape as far as East Hope Creek junction (just past 7 km).
