Looking downhill
Looking uphill
Another view downhill. The trench is up to ~3-4' deep, just enough room to pass for now...
Did not find the first couple kms particularly challenging. Washout at 3km has not been fixed but it's still passable for now (see pics). May get worse when the rains come.

A look at the washed out section
Washed out culvert
Looking at some rougher section of the road
[From Brian Sheffield] - I headed up to North Creek to do some brush cutting on the road, but the bottom 3 km was badly impacted by the rain events of the past winter. I couldn't get up to the end of the new logging at about the 3 km mark as a culvert had been washed out and it was too much for my Subaru. A high clearance FWD could manage though. The logging company will be back in to fix up the road as they still have some clean-up work to do and planting, as well as processing the slash into wood pellets. While I was up there I ran into a First Nations fisheries officer with the Mt. Curry band. The band will be taking over most of the Valley and future resource extraction and protection.

[From Laurent Schoenacker] - I have a 4runner and put the chains on at the junction where the road leaves the Lillooet FSR, but i could’ve made it without the chains. There’s roughly, or was, probably all melted by now, 6” of snow all the way to the trailhead with patches of no snow. Only drove up to the North Creek East Mainline at ~3km
