Road bed is mostly fine, with lower down being more eroded and washed out. Currently a lot of blowdown between ~500m and 800m, would need a chainsaw to clear it.

Upper couple of kms has a lot of alder encroaching. The centre line alders are also starting to get tall enough to scrape undercarriage.

Washed out culvert near the start, easy bypass on upstream side for now but may get worse after rain. Extremely overgrown (I'm talking 6' alders growing in the middle of the road) higher up but roadbed is still in decent condition for the most part. I did not take the last ~500m of the road shown here where it curves around but continued straight to access Mount Sampson. I don't remember passing this turn (it was probably very overgrown) but maybe it's a better starting point for Sampson (can't be much worse).
