Road Bulletins
Great condition up to branch 39. No snow at all. However snow started on the branch at around 600m so I would assume this road is not much different
Still in good condition as far as the turn offs for Tetrahedron or Varley. Gets increasingly rough and rocky with some moderate water bars as you climb towards the lake at the end. No major washouts and minimally bushy, but a proper 4x4 with good clearance required to drive to the end. Most SUVs can probably get to within 1-2 kms of the Polytope trailhead.
Mandatory checkin/checkout at manned gate at mill as always.

The gate at Port Mellon is manned 24x7. However, you're allowed to enter during daylight hours only. Once in, you're free to stay overnight.
As others have mentioned, the guard asked for my name, license plate number and reason for entering.

Good condition to the Tetrahedron spur at 7.5 km. Gate at Port Mellon was manned by friendly attendant at 8:30am and 6:30pm when we returned.
Super friendly gate lady at the mill, took my name and licence plate and let me through. Road is in easy 2wd shape, no active logging encountered today (Saturday).
