No major changes since my last report. The road was covered in a skiff of snow which was gone by the late afternoon. Puddles are deeper and there is more of them, still not deep enough to cause trouble if you drive slowly though. Drove as far as Williamson Lake FSR.

A couple of "tarns" on the road shortly before Foley Lake
Ok in crossover to Foley Lake - a bit rocky & potholed but saw Nissan Rogue & Qashqai had made it. After this road gets very narrow & there are large rocks on the side to avoid as well as steep dropoffs, slightly off camber sections & at least one deep dip. I left this road just before KM5 mark, can't comment beyond that.

49.12439° N, 121.58645° W Getting close to Foley lake here going up a small hill. This was typically road quality from here onwards.
49.12522° N, 121.58190° W Some large puddles here. They were actually no more than 4-6 inches deep, but look like they have the potential to get a lot deeper. This was after not raining for weeks.
49.12645° N, 121.57597° W First moderate washout here. You can see a new 3500 Duramax parked past it. Not much room to turn around there. More washouts as you progress, each getting worse as you go on
49.12127° N, 121.60722° W Typically potholes here.
49.11672° N, 121.61528° W Decent road quality before CC5000.
This road is based on my observations up to Williamson Lake FSR or 4.75km. This section of the road is in pretty rough condition. Insane number of potholes, large puddles, and various moderate washouts. Road conditions are actually pretty good up to CC5000 where they are actively logging. Conditions progressively get worse as you get to Foley lake and beyond. A Rav4 type vehicle with a confident driver would be the minimum I believe If you wish to go past Foley lake.

up until Foley Lake, it is 2WD/low-mid clearance accessible with some careful driving -- saw a Tesla Model 3 that managed to drive up there without any issues

Just before North Foley Lake, moderate washout -- mid- to high-clearance

After that, high clearance 4WD/AWD, steep and narrow. Drove to 850m in Suzuki Jimny, where there was a muddy and steep section. RAV4 got stuck there, got through with traction aids and 4 people pushing. I couldn't get through it solo afterwards, even more torn up and muddy from them.

Road continues to be muddy, steep and require good clearnace until 900m -- from there to 1050, it is in much better condition and very dry if you can handle the muddy sections beforehand

There are about 20 of these
Road is covered in massive lakes up to 1ft deep. There is one large ditch that is probably impassable to all non-ATVs but a bypass has been made through a creek on the north side (about 1/2 to 1 ft deep). Only drove to Airplane FSR junction

Road is impassable 250m beyond the turn off to Williamson creek fsr.
Francis Bailey reported on: Jul 09, 2023
A bypass around one of the washouts
There are numerous massive cross ditches to drive through and a narrow off-camber section above Foley Lake. All still doable in a 4x4 but high clearance is a must.
