Still in much the same condition as others have described. Road is in good enough condition, just a lot of cross ditches along the way. AWD crossover types shouldn’t have much issue up until the washout at the end of the road. HC 4x4 shouldn’t have any issue with the washout.
Roads in great shape for 4WDHC, like mentioned before the road is good for a AWD with clearance to the washout around 3km. Beyond that the newer branch up to 1400m is good to go if you can get through the washout.
The spur that continues straight at 1,265 m el. and then goes north in the direction of Klesilkwa Mountain (right after the creek crossing, where branch 2300 turns south) is drivable to the very end. A 4WD vehicle with high clearance should be able to make it to the creek crossing at 1,255 m el. A 4x4 will take you across the creek and further to the end of the road at 1,420 m el.
Only managed to drive to 1170m before hitting a decent snowline, I don't mess around with snow cause it's super slushy this time of year but some hardcores might be able to push thru abit higher. Road is same as previous reports, fairly deep cross ditches and getting abit rougher but no major obstacles.
Snowline at 1,000m. Road is very rough with 20+ deep cross ditches to that point. Definitely need high clearance and ideally 4x4. Drove a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk without issue.
[From Duffy Jimmy] - 4x4 recommended to where I parked at 1300 hundred meters road ends at 1400 meters ) 4wd around 1300 , due to 1 bad washout that required me to bottom with my truck.
