Only went to 8.5km mark. Has some potholes as you near the lake but way better than when I was last up 2y ago. We followed a minivan down, so that tells you what the road is like...
Road is great up until the campground area. Around the 12km mark past the cabins theres a ton of potholes. I saw a corrolla and mazda 3 up there, so definetly still driveable after a month of heavy rain!
So many potholes. Saw lots of regular 2WD cars at least 10 km in, so I'm sure most can make it if they really want to and don't care about damage. Sadly, also saw lots of garbage everywhere.
Only went up 1.5km, it's too rough for a low car, but any 2WD with a little bit of clearance should be able to make it. Not sure what it's like past 1.5km, but there was plenty of cars/2WD vehicles coming out, so it's likely in good shape.
Road is now snow free. Heavily potholed but we saw a few 2WD's that made it up, though personally I would only bring an SUV on a road this rough. No cross ditches or anything though.
They are logging on the West side of the lake so the lower portion of Jones Lake FSR is in good shape, once you get to the East side of the lake it's still in good condition except for potholes start where the cabins are. We didn't go all the way to the end but basically any car should be able to get as far as we did before we took a spur road on the left to go for Mount Ling.
